Operator face
Operator face strips the full-screen window down to what the person calling the show needs to read from a distance: the cue that is running, the cue that is coming, and the one after that. It is display only β nothing in this view sends timecode, fires a cue, or touches playback.
Opening it
Open the full-screen window (F11, or Fullscreen TC in the transport controls) and click Operator face. Workstation takes you back to the normal full-screen display, and Esc closes the window.
What it shows
- NEXT β the next cue: its department colour block and cue number, a large countdown on the left, and the cue name on the right. Long names wrap onto a second line rather than being cut off.
- NOW β the cue that is running, with how long it has been up.
- ON-DECK β the cue after next, with its own countdown. When nothing follows it in the song, it reads END OF SONG.
- STANDBY and GO banners, carrying the department name, as each cue comes up.
- The running timecode, the time left in the current song β which changes colour as the song runs out β and the next song.
Countdowns escalate in colour as a cue approaches, white to amber to red, so how close you are is readable before you have read the numbers.
Lyrics and stage positions
When the song has timed lyrics they appear here too, with the same left / centre / right alignment control as the teleprompter and Ctrl + wheel to scale the text. A line's stage position is shown beside it.
