Fullscreen TC display

The fullscreen TC display switches the LTCast window into a large-type layout: the current timecode, the song name, the time remaining, the waveform and the next cues. It is designed for the tech table or stage manager to read from a distance.

Opening and closing

• Open — press F11, or click the Fullscreen TC button in the status bar at the bottom of the window
• Close — press Esc or F11, click the ✕ at the top right, or click the dark background; playback continues

The fullscreen view is not a separate window: the main LTCast window itself switches into it, so there is no second window to move. To show it on another monitor, put the LTCast window on that monitor first.

What the fullscreen display shows

• Song name — the name of the active song, top left
• Timecode — current SMPTE position in large HH:MM:SS:FF format; updates in real time, with an EXT badge while LTCast is chasing an external clock
• Remaining time — a countdown to the end of the song next to the timecode, shown as −MM:SS / total; click it to switch to elapsed time; it is highlighted in the last 30 seconds
• Waveform — the song's waveform and song map, with the playhead and markers; click it to seek
• NEXT CUE — the upcoming cues, with the STANDBY and GO colours (see Next Cue panel)
• Lyrics — if the song has lyric lines, the lyrics appear beside NEXT CUE (see Full-screen teleprompter)

It does not show a frame-rate label or a PLAYING / STOPPED indicator. An Operator face button at the top switches to the Operator face, a different fullscreen layout for stage managers.

Adjusting the layout

There is no Display section in Settings. The layout scales with the window, and a few things are adjusted right in the fullscreen view and remembered on this computer:

• A− / A+ change the size of the lyric text and of the NEXT CUE text separately
• The lyric alignment (left, centre or right)
• The dividers between the waveform, the lyrics and NEXT CUE can be dragged to resize them

Use cases

Fullscreen fills the LTCast window, so it suits a screen that LTCast itself is running on, such as a monitor in extended or mirror mode. For a screen on another device, crew can open the web Viewer instead — see Viewer Mirror setup (LAN).

• Secondary monitor on the operator's desk showing TC for other departments to read
• A monitor at the stage manager's position for show calling
• A confidence monitor visible to the video operator across the room
• A projector or display facing the stage for acts that need to see their own timecode
