Multi-select

Multi-select lets you apply operations to several songs at once. Use it for batch delete, batch settings edits, setting an after-finish destination, skipping songs, or copying and moving songs to another list.

Selection controls

• Click a card — selects that song and deselects all others; after a moment the song is also cued as the amber STANDBY row (see Song card)
• Shift+click — click one song, then Shift+click another to select everything between them (inclusive); the anchor point is the first card you clicked
• Ctrl+click (Cmd+click on macOS) — adds or removes individual songs from the current selection without affecting other selected cards

Selection indicator

Selected cards show a selection highlight. The title of the Setlist panel changes from Setlist to 3 selected, and a Clear button appears next to it. Click Clear (or press Esc) to clear the entire selection.

Available batch operations

• Delete — press the Delete key to remove all selected songs from the setlist; LTCast asks Remove 3 selected items from setlist? before proceeding. Each removed song is one step of Ctrl+Z
• Per-song settings — expand any selected card (click its chevron) and change Trim, Fade in, Fade out or Time sig: the change applies to every selected song; see Per-song settings for details
• After-finish destination — right-click one of the selected songs → After this song… sets the destination for all of them; see After-finish destination
• Copy, cut, paste — Ctrl+C / Ctrl+X / Ctrl+V, or drop the selection on another list's tab; see Copy, cut & paste songs
• Skip — right-click → Skip 3 songs; see Skipping songs

Confirmation before delete

When you delete several selected songs, LTCast shows a confirmation dialog with the count of songs that will be removed. This prevents accidental deletion of a large selection. Click Delete to confirm or Cancel to go back.

Keyboard shortcuts

• Ctrl+A — select all songs in the current variant
• Esc — clear the current selection. The same press also stops playback (or starts the Esc fade-out), so you do not need a second press
• Delete — delete all selected songs (with confirmation); Backspace does not delete
• Ctrl+C / Ctrl+X / Ctrl+V — copy / cut / paste the selected songs (Ctrl+Shift+V pastes an independent copy). These work only while the Setlist is the last panel you clicked
