Multi-select
Multi-select lets you apply operations to several songs at once. Use it for batch delete, batch settings edits, or moving a group of songs to a new position in the setlist.
Selection controls
- Click a card β selects that song and deselects all others
- Shift+click β click one song, then Shift+click another to select everything between them (inclusive); the anchor point is the first card you clicked
- Ctrl+click (Cmd+click on macOS) β adds or removes individual songs from the current selection without affecting other selected cards
Selection indicator
Selected cards show a selection highlight. The setlist toolbar shows a badge with the count of selected songs. Click the × in the badge to clear the entire selection.
Available batch operations
- Delete β removes all selected songs from the setlist; LTCast asks for confirmation showing the count of songs to be removed before proceeding
- Per-song settings β click the settings icon on any selected card to open a batch settings panel; any value you change applies to all selected songs simultaneously; see Per-song settings for details
- Drag to reorder β drag any card in the selection to move the entire group to a new position in the setlist
The batch settings panel shows a mixed-value indicator for fields that differ across the selection. Editing such a field sets all selected songs to the new value, overwriting their individual settings.
Confirmation before delete
When you delete multiple selected songs, LTCast shows a confirmation dialog listing the count of songs that will be removed. This prevents accidental deletion of a large selection. Click Remove to confirm or Cancel to go back.
