Copy & paste cues

Copy and paste lets you duplicate cues within a song or transfer them to another song in the setlist. The clipboard persists across song switches so you can build up a cue structure in one song and reuse it elsewhere. Copying and pasting is keyboard-only: the CUES tab has no Copy or Paste buttons.

Selecting cues

Click a cue in the cue list to select it (the playhead jumps to it). To select multiple cues:

• Ctrl+click (or Cmd+click on macOS) to add or remove individual cues from the selection. This does not move the playhead.
• Shift+click to select a contiguous range from the cue you last clicked.
• Ctrl+A to select all cues in the current song.

Copying cues

With cues selected, press Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on macOS). A toast notification confirms how many cues were copied to the clipboard.

The shortcuts work while the CUES tab or the waveform was the last thing you clicked, and they do nothing while you are typing in a text field. If you last clicked the setlist, Ctrl+C copies songs instead (see Copy, cut & paste songs).

Pasting cues

Move the playhead to the target position — click the waveform, or click a cue in the list — and press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V).

Cues are pasted relative to the current playhead position, preserving the relative spacing between them: the earliest copied cue lands on the playhead and the others keep their distance from it. If you copied three cues spread over 10 seconds, they land starting at the playhead with the same 10-second spread. Pasted cues that would fall past the end of the song are held at the end. The pasted cues become the selection.

Ctrl+D duplicates the selected cues in one step: copy and paste at the playhead.

Pasting to another song

The clipboard persists when you switch songs. Load a different song from the setlist, position the playhead, and paste. The copied cues land in the new song at the playhead position.

Undoing a paste

Press Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z) to undo a paste and remove the pasted cues.
