Sort & filter cues

The cue list can be sorted to help you find and review cues quickly, and the NEXT CUE panel can be filtered by department. Both are view-only: they change what you see but do not move cues on the waveform or affect playback. The CUES tab itself has a sort but no filter.

Sorting the cue list

When the song has at least two cues, a sort dropdown and a direction button appear in the header of the CUES tab. Pick what to sort by, then click the arrow button to switch between ascending and descending order. There are no column headers to click. The sort keys are:

Time — sorts by the cue's timecode position (the default).
Cue # — sorts by the cue number field.
Label — sorts alphabetically by the cue's name.

Sort is a view-only operation. The waveform always shows cues at their actual timecode position regardless of how the list is sorted.

Filtering by department

There is no filter in the CUES list. The department filter is on the NEXT CUE panel: a row of pills at the top shows All depts followed by one pill for each department. Click a department pill to show only that department's cues; click several to show their union, and click All depts to clear the filter. The row appears once the show has departments. Effect on waveform and playback

The sort order and the NEXT CUE filter affect only what the list or panel displays. The waveform continues to show all cue markers at their actual positions, and nothing is removed from the show or from any output.
