Sort & filter cues
The cue list supports sorting and filtering to help you find and review cues quickly. Both are view-only operations — they change what you see in the list but do not move cues on the waveform or affect playback order.
Sorting the cue list
Click a column header in the cue list toolbar to sort by that column. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order. The available sort columns are:
- Time — sorts by the cue's timecode position (the default).
- Cue Number — sorts by the numeric cue number field; decimal numbers (like 5.5) are sorted numerically.
- Label — sorts alphabetically by the cue's name.
Filtering by type or department
Click the filter button in the cue toolbar to open the filter options. You can filter the list to show only cues that match a specific color or department assignment.
To clear the filter and show all cues, click Show all types in the filter panel, or click the active filter chip to remove it.
Effect on waveform and playback
The sort order and active filters affect only the cue list display. The waveform continues to show all cue markers at their actual positions, and LTCast fires cues during playback based on their timecode, not the list order. A filtered-out cue will still fire on time — filtering does not suppress cue output.
