Network Viewer

Settings → Network Viewer has two sub-tabs: Host (Mirror) for running a viewer server, and Connect (Viewer) for connecting this LTCast machine as a passive viewer of another.

Host (Mirror) sub-tab

Controls for running the Viewer Mirror on this machine:

  • Enable network viewer mirror — master toggle; starts or stops the mirror server
  • Port — the HTTP port to listen on (default 7777); change and restart if the port is in use
  • Viewer URLs — auto-detected list of LAN addresses; updates when the network changes
  • Copy first URL — copies the first listed address to the clipboard

PIN authentication

  • Require PIN — toggle on to add a 4-digit PIN gate; toggling restarts the server briefly
  • PIN display — shows the current PIN when Require PIN is enabled
  • Reveal PIN — shows the PIN if it was hidden

Push alerts

  • Message field — text of the alert to send
  • Role field — optional department filter; blank sends to all viewers
  • Requires ACK — checkbox; viewer banner stays until tapped OK
  • Push — sends the alert immediately
  • Recent alerts grid — list of sent alerts with ACK status per role

Stage Monitor

  • List of connected viewers with role, name, status badge, and last message
  • HOLD / CLEAR HOLD — broadcasts a hold alert to all viewers; press again to clear

Cloud Share (Pro)

  • Share via cloud link — toggle to enable public URL via Cloudflare relay (Pro feature)
  • Public URL display — shown when Cloud Share is active
  • Copy link — copies the public URL to the clipboard
  • QR code — scannable QR for the public URL

Connect (Viewer) sub-tab

Controls for connecting this machine as a read-only viewer of another LTCast machine:

  • Act as a read-only viewer — master toggle; enters viewer mode when on
  • Host — IP address of the primary LTCast machine
  • Port — mirror port of the primary (default 7777)
  • PIN — 4-digit PIN if the primary requires one; leave blank if no PIN
  • Status indicator — shows: Connecting, Connected, Wrong PIN, or Disconnected

When connected, a VIEWING · READ-ONLY badge appears in the main UI header. Click EXIT or press Esc to disconnect and return to normal operation.
