Network Viewer

Settings → Network Viewer has two sub-tabs: Host (Mirror) for running a viewer server on this machine, and Connect (Viewer) for turning this LTCast into a passive viewer of another one.

Host (Mirror) sub-tab

Controls for running the Viewer Mirror here. Hosting needs Pro (a licence or an active trial): without Pro the controls are dimmed and an Upgrade link shows, while the address list and status below stay visible. See Viewer Mirror setup.

  • Enable network viewer mirror — the master switch. It is remembered, so a mirror that was on starts again when LTCast launches.
  • Port — the HTTP port, 1024–65535, default 7777. Changing it while the mirror runs restarts the server on the new port by itself; viewers then need the new address.
  • Require PIN — on by default. Toggling it restarts the server. See Sharing URL & PIN.
  • PIN — the current 4-digit PIN, shown while the mirror runs with Require PIN on. Hide PIN and Reveal PIN again show or hide it. A new PIN is generated every time the server starts.
  • Viewer URLs (LAN) — the addresses viewers can open, one per network interface; click one to open it here. Copy first URL copies the primary address.
  • A status line, Running on port 7777 or (not running), and N viewers connected. An error is shown here if the port is in use or not permitted.
  • Short reminders: the mirror is plain HTTP for the LAN only, viewers are read-only, and what the macOS or Windows firewall may ask the first time.

Cloud Share (Pro)

At the bottom of the same tab. It is independent of the LAN mirror and is not remembered between launches. See Cloud Share.

  • Start Cloud Share / Stop Cloud Share — opens or closes the room. A status pill shows Connecting to relay…, Cloud share active, Reconnecting… or Cloud share off.
  • Public viewer link, Copy link, and a QR code for the link.

The push-alert form, the grid of acknowledgements and the report log are not in Settings. They are in the Stage Monitor panel (show it with View → Stage Monitor), and HOLD is a button in the status bar — see Push alerts and HOLD broadcast.

Connect (Viewer) sub-tab

Controls for turning this machine into a read-only viewer of another LTCast. It needs no Pro. See LTCast as Viewer.

  • Act as a read-only viewer of another LTCast — the master switch; greyed out until a Host is entered. Turning it on replaces the whole window with the full-screen viewer, and the setting is remembered.
  • Host — the IP address of the primary machine, for example 192.168.1.42.
  • Port — the primary's mirror port (default 7777).
  • PIN — the primary's PIN; leave it empty only if the primary runs without a PIN.
  • Status — Connecting, Connected, Wrong PIN or Disconnected.

While connected, the viewer screen shows a VIEWING · READ-ONLY badge. Click EXIT (Esc) or press Esc to return to the normal window.
