Cloud Share (Pro)
Cloud Share is a Pro feature that generates a public URL accessible from anywhere β no LAN required. It is useful for remote operators, venue technicians connecting from outside the building, or crew members on a different network segment.
Cloud Share requires a valid LTCast Pro license. The toggle is visible without Pro but cannot be enabled.
Enabling Cloud Share
Go to Settings β Network Viewer β Host (Mirror) and ensure the mirror is running. Then toggle on Share via cloud link. LTCast connects to a Cloudflare relay server and generates a unique public URL. The URL and a QR code appear in the settings panel once the connection is established.
Sharing the link
Click Copy link to copy the public URL to the clipboard, or have remote crew scan the QR code directly from the settings screen. The public URL can be shared via any channel β email, messaging apps, or a shared document.
The public viewer shows the same timecode, song name, and cue information as the LAN viewer. All viewer features β role filtering, stage reporting β work the same way over the public URL.
Stopping Cloud Share
Toggle off Share via cloud link. The public URL becomes invalid immediately. LTCast disconnects from the relay server. The LAN mirror continues running if it was enabled separately.
Security considerations
The public URL is unique and unguessable, but it is not protected by the LAN PIN system. Anyone who has the URL can view the timecode display. Share the URL only with trusted crew members, and stop Cloud Share when the show is over to prevent unauthorized access.
For shows with a remote director or tour manager who needs to watch timecode from a green room or hotel, Cloud Share eliminates the need to set up VPN access or expose LTCast to a public IP.
