LTCast 0.7.33 Latest

Chase finds songs with no LTC track, a Resolume Arena link, and a phone viewer crews can read on the move

2026-11-02

New

  • Chase finds songs whose file has no LTC track, by the song’s start TC and length — the timecode the TC generator plays it at. Turning chase on says how many it found this way, and Pre-Show Check lists the songs it cannot find.
  • Chase follows one timecode input at a time — LTC first, then Art-Net. If the one in charge goes quiet for a quarter of a second the next takes over, and it hands back when the first returns. The order and each input’s own offset (the LTC input has one now too) are in Settings → Timecode In → Chase → Timecode sources.
  • Entering a song midway, chase can re-send what it missed — the last few seconds, the last trigger of each destination, or everything so far — set per show in Settings → Timecode In → Chase. Skipping them stays the default; re-sent ones are marked [lookback] in the Show Log.
  • Resolume Arena link (Pro, off by default): LTCast fires Arena columns and clips by Arena’s own ID, so moving columns in Arena never hits the wrong one. Record a take with REC Arena, see the triggers as a lane on the Tour, and Pre-Show Check lists any whose column is gone.
  • OSC monitor (Show tab → OSC): every OSC message LTCast sends, to the millisecond, where it went and which trigger sent it, with CSV export. Each OSC target can also use TCP (SLIP or length-prefix) instead of UDP.
  • Phone viewer: a much bigger NEXT and UPCOMING on phones and tablets, with A− / A+; a line showing the current song section with a countdown to the next; and a layout for holding it sideways.
  • Phone viewer over cloud share keeps the phone from dimming and locking. Over the local network browsers don’t allow that, so it tells the crew to set Auto-Lock to Never.

Worth knowing

  • No trigger goes out during a freewheel, with chase audio on too, and the ones passed during a dropout of more than a second are not sent when the signal returns.

Fixed

  • Chase left on when you quit works again on the next launch. It came back lit with the big timecode running, but no song followed and no trigger fired until you switched it off and on.
  • Chase with its audio on sends each MIDI / OSC / Arena trigger once. They went out twice, about 0.2 s apart.
  • Chase: triggers in a gap in a song’s own timecode (between two LTC parts, or a pre-roll) fire on their own frame, instead of all at once when the timecode comes back.
  • Chase: a long next song (10–20 minutes) no longer makes the opening triggers of the song that is playing go out about 0.1 s late.
  • Lyrics: the end point after the last line is saved with the show, and comparing versions moves the lyric lines along with the cues.
  • Comparing versions on a show whose timecode doesn’t start at 00:00:00:00 no longer moves every trigger to the end of the song.
  • Phone viewer: department names show as they are (a name like 燈光 showed as dept / dept2), and every button and dialog is in English.
  • No “Save changes?” when quitting a show you did not edit.
  • Song lengths are measured with the app’s own ffmpeg, so the setlist and Pre-Show Check know them on a normal install.
  • LTCast opens even when Windows cannot find the Documents folder, and its error log no longer fills the disk when the program that started LTCast exits.
  • Downloading an update shows its progress — from the next update after this one, since this one is still run by the version you have.
  • Small fixes: a silent reference video no longer reads as “no video”, Pre-Show Check no longer asks for a MIDI port when every trigger is OSC, and Tour lane names line up with their lanes.
