LTCast 0.7.32 Latest

Chase is free, songs up to 3 hours load, and LTCast keeps full time when minimized

2026-10-08

New

  • Chase is free: following another machine’s LTC or Art-Net timecode no longer needs Pro. Sending timecode on (TC Bridge and the MTC / Art-Net / OSC outputs) still does.
  • Songs up to about 3 hours load. Files over about 2 h 45 min were refused; they now load in the background, with “Loading 47%” under the big timecode.
  • During a show the computer and its display stay awake, and update prompts wait until the song or the timecode Chase follows has been stopped for 30 seconds (Settings → System → Updates).
  • While Chase runs, changing the song or the show by hand — dropping files, Load Song, a MIDI “go to song”, opening or starting another show — is refused with a short message, so Chase keeps the triggers it is following.
  • Esc always stops the music, even with something selected, and whenever another show would replace unsaved work LTCast asks Save / Don’t Save / Cancel.
  • Tour: Ctrl+L locks the Tour timeline too, with a LOCKED badge; skipped songs are dimmed and left out of countdowns and the Calling Script; dragging a cue to another lane changes only the department it left.

Fixed

  • Minimized, LTCast keeps full time: MTC / Art-Net / OSC, triggers, song ends and the NDI picture all run at full rate and on time, and triggers already passed are no longer sent again.
  • Chase: entering a song midway no longer fires every earlier trigger at once, a rerun after the master rewinds fires them again, and the local audio starts where the master is.
  • An A/B loop no longer re-sends the triggers before A at every wrap, and CUES “Stop loop” really stops the loop.
  • Outputs that need Pro no longer glow green without it. They turn amber with “Needs Pro”, and Pre-Show Check flags them.
  • Whole-song Loop no longer hangs at the end of some songs, and AIFF files load.
  • A show, song or video on a network share that went offline no longer freezes LTCast and its timecode output.
  • Mac: a copy run straight from the disk image says to move LTCast into Applications, instead of downloading an update it cannot install.
  • “Deactivate” frees the activation slot, for promo licences and in Settings → License too.
  • Cue-sheet PDFs use A4 paper (US Letter in the US, Canada and Mexico), and the Show Log shows your local time.
